Browser storage for the support notice

The sourcing-support notice stores its first display timestamp in localStorage. The display window lasts at most seven days from that original timestamp. Opening or closing the notice does not restart the window. Session storage records dismissal of the ticker and popup for the current browser session. These browser values control the notice display and do not represent an account or procurement approval.

Optional form controls

Inquiry-option, budget, currency, budget basis and supplier preference controls help explain the request. Their summary is added to the outgoing requirements value without changing the text you typed. If JavaScript is unavailable, write these optional details directly in the requirements field. A preference is a buyer instruction about cost, finish, customization and service rather than a verified assessment of a supplier.
